Terms & Conditions
At Oh My Gloss Ltd, our goal is to provide a professional, high-quality mobile valeting and detailing service. To keep everything clear and fair for both you and us, please read the following Terms & Conditions that apply to all bookings.
1. Service Levels & Package Selection

Each valeting and detailing package is designed to achieve a specific level of cleaning, restoration and finish.

It is the customer’s responsibility to choose a package appropriate for the current condition of their vehicle.
-
Entry-level or maintenance packages are not suitable for heavily soiled, neglected or contaminated vehicles.
-
If the selected package cannot achieve a satisfactory result due to the vehicle’s condition, Oh My Gloss Ltd may:

Recommend moving to a more suitable package

Require an upgrade before work continues
-
Decline the service if the package is completely unsuitable
-
We do not carry out incomplete work or offer partial cleaning where the selected package cannot achieve the advertised standard.
2. Personal Belongings & Clear Vehicle Policy
-
Please remove all personal items before your appointment, including from the boot, door pockets, glovebox, centre console, under seats and child seats.
-
We do not handle, move or store customer belongings. Any items left in the vehicle remain at the owner’s risk.
-
Areas containing belongings will not be cleaned. Overfilled boots or blocked areas may be skipped or require rebooking.
-
For safety reasons, child seats must be removed and refitted by the owner.
-
If personal items prevent safe access, we may limit the service to accessible areas.
3. Pre-Inspection & Existing Damage
-
All vehicles are visually inspected before work begins.
-
Oh My Gloss Ltd accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage, including dents, scratches, loose trim, faulty seals, lacquer failure or poor respray work.

Customers must declare any known damage or resprayed panels before work starts.
Paintwork & Resprays
-
We are not liable for flaking paint, lacquer peel or damage to resprayed areas unless this was declared in advance.
-
Machine polishing on resprayed or poorly repaired paintwork is carried out at the customer’s risk.
4. Weather Conditions
-
As a mobile service, weather may affect our ability to complete work safely or to the correct standard.
-
If weather prevents the service, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking.
-
Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged 50% of the service cost to cover time, travel and loss of earnings and inability to fill the slot.
Any Cancellations on the day are required to cover the whole cost the booking being cancelled
6. Vehicle Movement & Access
-
Vehicles will not be moved unless permission is given.
-
If the working environment is unsafe (busy road, tight space, steep hill, etc.), we may request the owner to reposition the vehicle.
-
Sufficient space and safe access must be provided for us to carry out the service.
7. Damage Liability
If Oh My Gloss Ltd causes accidental damage, we may:

Offer repair
-
Provide fair compensation
-
Work with you to reach a reasonable solution
We are not liable for:

Damage caused by third parties
-
Natural disasters or severe weather
-
Government actions
-
Consequential loss or indirect financial loss
-
Issues caused by existing faults or undisclosed damage
8. Insurance
-
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains appropriately insured at all times.
9. Payments
-
Full payment is due upon completion, unless agreed otherwise.
-
Prices follow the current rate listed on our website or agreed at booking.
-
Keys may be held until payment is made in full.
10. Vehicle Size Guide
-
Vehicle size classifications (small/medium/large) are determined at our discretion based on the vehicle’s dimensions and cleaning requirements.
11. Key Responsibility
-
Oh My Gloss Ltd is not responsible for lost, damaged or locked-in keys.
-
Please ensure you have a spare key available.
12. Engine Bay Cleaning
-
Customers must declare any alarms, immobilisers or sensitive electrical components before an engine bay clean.
-
Oh My Gloss Ltd is not liable for faults caused by pre-existing electrical issues.
13. Reassembly
-
We do not reinstall or refit child seats, accessories or removed items after the service.
14. Product Safety
-
Some products may remain slippery once dry. Customers should exercise care when entering or exiting the vehicle.
15. Customer Liability
-
Customers are liable for any injury or damage suffered by staff due to hazards inside the vehicle (sharp objects, broken glass, chemicals, needles, animal waste, etc.).
-
Vehicles with dangerous conditions may be refused service.
16. Public Liability
-
Oh My Gloss Ltd maintains full public liability insurance suitable for mobile valeting and detailing work.
17. Definitions
-
“We” / “Us” = Oh My Gloss Ltd
-
“You” = The customer or vehicle owner
-
“Vehicle” = Any car, van, motorbike or similar
-
“Service” = The package or add-ons selected
-
“Price List” = The current pricing on our website
18. Booking Deposit -
A deposit is required to secure all bookings.
-
This deposit reserves your appointment slot exclusively and confirms your commitment to the booking. As this time is set aside specifically for you and other work is declined, all deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
-
The deposit will be deducted from the final balance on the day of the service.
-
By paying the deposit, you agree to these terms.
